This is a furniture battery system integration that our group has developed for Teknion. The system is able to support any type of mobile working environment. It can turn office space into an agile space. The ability to plan spontaneously by both the end user and the interior designer makes this system a logical next step in office design. I designed this system while at Teknion’s Major Pursuits Department. The request originated from a customer who was looking to liberate themselves from their aging site, where core drilling for more power was no longer an option. The main convenience of this system is the ability to swap batteries for a fresh set on the fly instead of waiting to recharge the spent battery.
